asian art prints show from NYT It feels a bit strange to stand in the opening rooms of “Blocks of Color: American Woodcuts From the 1890s to the Present,” the survey of more than 100 prints at the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum. The works in the exhibition are American, but to the casual observer they look Japanese, both in terms of compositional style and subject matter.
